21st Annual Palm Springs International Film
Festival Plays host to a fabulous array of
movies and stars. The Festival features a
stellar line-up of movies and movies stars.
It also boasts the largest number of gay
and lesbian films of any film festival in
the US. The Festival will feature a stellar
line-up of more than 175 films from 60 countries,
special events and gala receptions. The Black
Tie Awards Gala will be held on Tuesday,
January 5, 2010, at the Palm Springs Convention

Now
in its sixteenth year, ShortFest has grown
to become the largest and highest profile short
film showcase in North America. Over the course
of a week, films from established and (as
yet) unknown talents from around the world will
be screened, while short film buyers and sellers
will be able to browse 2,500 films in the concurrent
Film Market. The festival’s films are grouped
into programscovering a variety of genres – thrillers,
animation, documentaries, comedies – and
each program has a theme, ranging from romance,
sex and gay lifestyles to grandparents, immigration
and pet peeves.

event of the eary. It features art shows,
2 dancefloors, mainstage entertainment, food
venders and more. The festival opens at the
stadium at 10:00 AM both days, with a parade
from Alejo Road (heading south) to Ramon
